Editorial Guidelines

Clarity, creativity, and credibility. That’s the Guild standard.

Our Editorial Philosophy

At Digital Design Guild, we celebrate digital creativity that has meaning, purpose, and impact.

Our content reflects the intersection of design, marketing, SEO, and technology, told through stories that inspire, inform, and elevate the creative community.

We believe in sharing knowledge, not noise, and in highlighting voices that make the web better for everyone.

We feature articles, roundups, and stories focused on:

  • Web Design & UX – Visual design, trends, best practices, and case studies.
  • SEO & Digital Marketing – Campaign insights, strategy, and performance storytelling.
  • Technology & Development – WordPress, emerging tech, tools, and workflow tips.
  • Creativity & Culture – Inspiration, storytelling, and human perspectives on digital work.
  • AI & Innovation – The evolving role of artificial intelligence in design and marketing.

We also publish Guild Roundups and Award Features, showcasing the best projects submitted to our platform.

Our editorial voice is:

  • Professional, but approachable
  • Informed, not arrogant
  • Curious, not clickbait

Writers and contributors should aim for clarity, honesty, and insight, with enough personality to keep readers engaged. We value perspective, but we avoid hype and hard selling.

To maintain consistency and credibility, please follow these basics:

  • Keep sentences concise and paragraphs short (2–4 lines max).
  • Use subheadings to organize your content clearly.
  • Cite data, quotes, or references when making claims.
  • Avoid keyword stuffing, we care about people-first writing.
  • Use American English spelling and grammar conventions.

If you’re submitting an article, include a short author bio (50–75 words) with links to your website or portfolio.

We welcome guest writers, designers, and marketers who want to share their expertise.
Guest contributions should:

  • Offer genuine insights or personal experience, not promotion.
  • Be original and unpublished elsewhere.
  • Include at least one actionable takeaway for readers.

All articles are reviewed by our editorial team before publication. If accepted, we may edit for clarity, tone, or length while maintaining your core message.

The Guild’s editorial policy values honesty above all else. We do not accept paid placements, biased reviews, or disguised advertisements. When partnerships or sponsorships are involved, they will always be clearly disclosed.

Our mission is to highlight creativity, not commerce, and to ensure every feature we publish earns its place.
