Our Purpose

Digital Design Guild was founded to celebrate the people behind exceptional digital work, the designers, developers, strategists, and storytellers who make the web more meaningful and inspiring.

We believe creativity and performance can coexist, that great design should be both beautiful and effective.

Our mission is simple:

To recognize original, creative digital work that drives progress, sparks emotion, and contributes to the common good.

What started as a casual conversation about design and marketing quickly turned into a shared vision:

There needed to be an authentic space to showcase the incredible work happening online, from nonprofit websites and small startups to bold ad campaigns and million-dollar brand launches.

That conversation became Digital Design Guild, a collective of creative professionals who care deeply about quality, innovation, and honesty in digital design.

How It Started

The idea for Digital Design Guild began when several digital entrepreneurs met at a conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

We believe creativity and performance can coexist, that great design should be both beautiful and effective.

Our Founder

Lara Wynn is a veteran web designer and SEO strategist with more than 15 years of experience working with startups and nonprofit organizations.
She’s spoken at conferences across the country on topics ranging from creativity and WordPress development to the future of digital marketing.
Driven by curiosity and craftsmanship, Lara believes design is both an art and a service a tool for communication, empathy, and change.
Her hope for the Guild is to inspire collaboration, celebrate excellence, and elevate the creative community one project at a time.

Our Board

The Digital Design Guild is supported by a volunteer board of designers, developers, and marketers from across the digital industry.

Each member serves a 24-month term, bringing their unique expertise and perspective to the judging process, editorial direction, and overall mission of the Guild.

While most board members prefer to stay behind the scenes, their shared values integrity, creativity, and curiosity define everything we do.
